The Technicolor Dream Chair by Kaffe Fassett

Standard

The front…

And the back….

I absolutely love the fruit pattern on this chair which has honestly been in my dreams recently! It was created and hand stitched by Kaffe Fassett, an American born textiles designer who now lives and works in the UK. The chair, along with the rest of his work, is so beautiful and colourful I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you from the Artisan Studios at the Chelsea Flower show earlier this year.

Remember: “don’t be afraid of colours” – Kaffe Fassett

About Amaryllis Earle

The idea for my blog came when I was thinking about my little sister, who is ten and the kind of inspiration she will have when she grows up and becomes a young woman. After a little bit of research on Google it struck me that a lot of parents, friends and relatives of young people where asking for positive, inspirational material. So the aim of this blog is to find inspirational people, music, videos, events, articles, movements ANYTHING that aims to encourage and inspire people. Also I'll share anything that just makes me smile- hoping it will make others smile too. I will also be writing about some fashion and beauty ideas, keeping in line with our positive message philosophy and some events and happenings in the world. The name Deeper Dazzle came out of the idea that true beauty is really made up of a combination of inner (who you are as a person) and outer (physical appearance) beauty. Dazzle is a synonym for beauty, so as well as looking after our physical self we need to go deeper than what is just on the surface to inspire and build ourselves up from the inside in order to become truly beautiful people.
