This week I went to see Glee in a live show, and it really struck me how much I loved their cover of “Born this Way” originally by Lady Gaga. I also love the message given by them having the attribute they most dislike about themselves printed loud and proud on a t-shirt as the sung “Born this Way”. Surely if you celebrate and try to accept the little things about yourself that you would rather change (instead of focusing on them and bringing yourself down in the process,) the rest will fall into place. If you accept, do I dare say it even try to like your least favorite part of yourself because it makes you who you are and it was how your where born, then having confidence in yourself may become that little bit easier.
To follow this I’ve made a t-shirt shouting out my least favorite part of me – my dyslexia.
If you want to share anything loud and proud please email your photos to deeperdazzle@gmail.com and I’ll add them to the site – if you don’t have the time to make a t-shirt maybe write it on a post-it and stick it to yourself for the photo?
